Mistery Girls
2025
This ongoing photographic series, entirely shot in black-and-white film, is deeply influenced by the visual language of classic Hollywood cinema, Italian neorealism, and giallo thrillers. Shot in urban landscapes across Northern Italy, the images are imbued with an unsettling, cinematic quality, where every scene feels like an unsolved mystery. In each photograph, various women assume different roles, their faces deliberately obscured to create a sense of anonymity and mystery. This hidden identity transforms the women into haunting figures—present yet unreachable—adding layers of tension and intrigue. The obscured faces suggest untold stories and secrecy, inviting viewers to project their interpretations onto the anonymous characters.

Renaissance - MUSEION
2024
On the occasion of one of the highest grants for young art in Europe, awarded by the Vordemberge-Gildewart Foundation, Museion presents an exhibition featuring selected works by 15 young artists from northern Italy. Despite the diversity of their practices – including sculpture, installation, painting, drawing, video, photography, and performance – all artists share a regenerative approach towards remnants from the past. How does a young generation of artists process their weighty cultural heritage, shaped by aesthetic and social “standards”, values, role models, icons, or expectations of the artist figure? How do they build upon ruins of the past which still cast long shadows?

The Milan-based design collective (ab)Normal created the exhibition’s  scenography which, through the interplay of backgrounds, lights, and shadows, enables a fluid walkthrough between the various positions.

Reverse Gazes - Foto Forum
2023
Reverse Gazes is the first exhibition in the JOINTS series, curated by Eva Leitolf and Giulia Cordin, in collaboration with Jeva Griskjane. The exhibition showcases photographs by American artist Haley Morris-Cafiero and multimedia works by emerging artists Carmine Auricchio, Pia Deppermann, Sophie Krause, and Luca Piscopo.

Reverse Gazes questions the politics of looking, presenting hybrid and transdisciplinary practices from artists of different generations and social backgrounds, united by their exploration of intersecting perspectives.

This collective exhibition reflects on the current value conflicts within the patriarchal system in the era of technologized media manipulation, offering new perspectives and envisioning alternative models of life for a more egalitarian and independent coexistence.
